hot take: the amount of people faking being non-verbal online is genuinely disgusting because you can't go nonverbal over text; nonverbal can only apply to verbal communication. no, "nonscribal" doesn't count because nonscribal doesn't even exist. it's not found in any medical papers and the most i could find was a pluralpedia page which is very unreliable. nonverbal is used to describe people with autism who do not communicate using spoken language. texting is not a spoken language, and therefore you can't be nonverbal over text. also, you can't "go nonverbal" because that's not how it works.
